Our Five-Step Process Protecting your Investment

Site Meeting
We meet at your site and find out precisely what are your objectives, and given the site parameters, we can assess whether those objectives are likely to be feasible. We tour the site to determine the panel space and any surrounding obstructions and shading impacts. We take measurements of the ground or roof space. Most important we ask you to get the past year’s half hourly data from your electricity provider and the maximum power used in that year.

Design and Quotation
We may do a series of designs to determine the optimum and produce a quotation and give you an idea of the likely output of the system and an approximate payback period. If the quotation is within your budget and is competitive we move to the next necessary step. The specification of the panels and inverters will be given at this point. We comply with the Hies Standard on Quotations and comply with its code of practice.

Structural Calculations
Should the site visit reveal structural issues, or you have a building with a flat roof, then our expertise as structural engineers comes into play. We model the building to ensure the structure is up to current building standards. You are in safe hands.

Installation
A date will be arranged for the start of the installation and you will be given an expected duration to completion. Considerations will have been discussed at the original site meeting regarding the minimising any disturbance to your normal affairs. Generally, this is minimal.

Handover
This is an essential step so you know exactly what needs to be done should various events occur, it is detailed yet simple to understand. All paperwork and warranties are handed over in a neat file for your convenience. No project is finished until this stage is complete.
